Live Streaming of Games & Video Permissions
We have been enjoying live-streaming footage from around the country, showcasing domestic cricket on CS Live and social media channels. To make sure we keep our children, young people and vulnerable adults safe please see below a message from Colin McDougall, Cricket Scotland’s Child Wellbeing & Protection Officer, about photo and video permission for u18s and vulnerable adults.
Live Streaming of Games
All Clubs are reminded that where a game is to be live streamed, it is the policy of Cricket Scotland that where a child (someone under the age of 18 years) is playing, then the requisite permission to photograph/film (normally through utilising the Partnership With Parents/Carers Form) must be in place. The onus is on the team containing the child to ensure that filming does not take place if such permission has not been obtained. It would be good practice for the team filming, to check with the opposition that permissions are in place.
