Illegal Parking on the Meadows

After a reminder from Edinburgh Leisure, a reminder to all clubs that use the Meadows for their games (or visiting teams) – only one car per team is allowed to be parked adjacent to the pavilion on the hard standing and requires to be ‘signed in’.  Under no circumstances should cars be parked on the grass at the Meadows.

Please note that cars can be parked on Saturdays to the south of the Meadows / Melville Drive [Zone 8 – Peripheral parking zone] free of charge on single yellow lines, residents parking zones and pay & display spaces, but not on Melville Drive itself.

There is a risk that EL withdraw all parking within the Meadows for teams attending the cricket and therefore it is clearly in the best interests of all to comply.
