An Afternoon with David Gower
The Lord’s Taverners are delighted to announce that David Gower OBE, former England Captain and cricket commentator will be entertaining guests at a lunch to be held in Edinburgh on 8 June at the Waldorf Astoria – The Caledonian in Edinburgh. This event precedes the Scotland England One Day International being played at the Grange on 10 June. It will be a great opportunity to hear about the highs (and lows) of international cricket and to hear from one of our most knowledgeable cricketers. You might even be able to bowl a few googlies at him through some tricky questions during the Q&A session.
There are around 20 tickets left for the event which costs £65/head (£60 for Lord’s Taverners members or £600 for a table of 10) with all proceeds used to support cricket and other sports programmes for physically and socially disadvantaged young people.
